Are prices in AUD?

All prices listed are in Australian dollars ($AUD) and include GST

Is the item I wish to purchase available now?

Items stated as “in stock” are available to ship with your order.

Do you take pre-orders for new releases?

Pre-order items are items made available for purchase on Book Jungle prior to their market release date. Generally, pre-ordered items will be sent to us by the local distributors on the release date in Australia.

Depending on the distributor of the item, and your location, you should expect to receive pre-ordered items within 1-7 business days from the release date.

How will I know you have received my order?

Shortly after you have completed your order and made payment you will receive an email confirming your order

What payment types do you accept?

Payment on Book Jungle can be via VISA, MasterCard or PayPal

Bulk orders

Book Jungle offers discount rates for bulk orders of over $1000 (Inc.GST).  Bulk orders only apply when making a purchase of multiple copies of the same title.

If you would like a quote on a bulk order please contact us to arrange a quote on both the book title and shipping costs.

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?
  • Standard Post (via Australia Post)  - $11.00

This is the cheapest option, standard Australia Post delivery times will apply.  Your parcel may be required to be picked up from the local post office if no-one is in attendance at the time of delivery.

  • Premium Post (via Australia Post)  - $14.00

For an additional $3 you can have your parcel/s registered and insured.  We will send you the tracking number so you can track your order right to your door.  With receipted delivery your order will need to be signed for, giving you 100% peace of mind that your order is delivered to you and not just left on your door step or in the mail box.

  • Express Post (via Australia Post)  - $20.00

Premium service, fastest option, trackable and includes insurance. 80% of Australian postal destinations will have their parcel delivered the next business day after dispatch.  Outside of major centres, parcels will be delivered via Australia Post’s fastest transport link.

How can I track my order?

If you select either Premium or Express Post you will be sent your tracking number and instructions via email. 

Do you ship internationally?

No sorry, we only deliver to Australian addresses.

How long does delivery take?

As every product and every order is different we are unable to give you an exact day your order will arrive.  Standard Australia Post delivery times apply.

  • When all items in your order are in stock

We will process your order within 1-2 business days and you should receive your product/s, depending on the postage you have chosen and where in Australia you live, within 1-6 business days after it has been processed.

  • Some items in my order are not currently in stock

If there are multiple items in your order then we will hold all “in stock” items for 6 business days to allow us to ship any remaining items from your order that will arrive from a supplier. If however you do not wish to wait for your “in stock” items then we can arrange to send them to you separately but you will be charged for the additional postage.

  • The items in my order are NOT in stock

Receival of stock will depend on the location of the supplier.  Delivery to our warehouse can take from 4 business days from Australian suppliers up to 20 days (occasionally more) from our International suppliers. 

As soon as we receive the stock from our suppliers we will process and ship your items. You will receive an email informing you that your order has been dispatched. 

What if my order arrives damaged or faulty?

What if my back order is taking too long?

Any item that has been on order for 90 days, and the customer no longer wishes to wait, then a refund will be offered only if the title is not in transit from the supplier. This does not include books that are Not Yet Published.  Book Jungle reserves the right to cancel any backorders if we think the item will not arrive from the supplier.

Return 

What is the Book Jungle return policy?

Book Jungle understands that from time to time a customer changes their mind about a purchase, which is why Book Jungle has a "No Questions Asked Guarantee" to return any book for a store credit to the value of the item returned.  The items MUST be returned within 14 days of being received and returned in as new condition and at the customer's own expense. The store credit given will only be for the price of the purchased item and not for the shipping charges. The store credit will be valid for 12 months.  This Guarantee does not include Gift Vouchers, Audio & Visual Products.

Faulty and Damaged Goods

All books sold via Book Jungle are visually inspected to ensure it has not arrived damaged from its suppliers. We encourage all customers to flick through a book to ensure all pages are printed correctly.  However, we do know of instances that chapters can be missing, duplicated or in the incorrect order and you may only realise this upon reading the book. If you believe that the item you received is damaged or faulty please contact Customer Service

Audio / Visual items

There is a NO RETURN & NO REFUND policy for change of mind for all audio and visual items.
